The Gibson Southern Lady Titans volleyball team ran into the buzzsaw that is known as the Tecumseh Lady Braves Tuesday as they swept 3-0 in Lynville.

Tecumseh gained momentum early with a 25-11 first-set victory and that carried that over to a 25-13 win in the second set and a dominant 25-6 win in the third and ultimately final set.

Lady Braves senior Kaybree Oxley kept the pressure on the Lady Titans defense as she recorded 15 kills for Tecumseh.

Tecumseh's trio of Jenna Donohoo, Oxley and Emily Bogan kept the Lady Titans off the board as Donohoo had 10 digs, Oxley had nine and Bogan had eight in the Lady Braves dominant win.

With the loss, Gibson Southern dropped to 9-9 on the season and are now 3-3 in conference play. Tecumseh improved their Pocket Athletic Conference-best record to 18-2 overall with a conference record of 7-0.

The Lady Titans will travel to Washington Wednesday to take on the conference rival Lady Hatchets and then will host Evansville North Thursday.
