HENDERSON, Ky. — A sports fan daily double of pigskin and ponies comes to Ellis Park this Saturday, July 13, as the Indianapolis Colts brings their newColts In Motion traveling experience to the thoroughbred racetrack.

Indiana’s National Football League franchise comes to the track with its spanking-new high-tech 40-foot trailer that provides unique and entertaining experiences for football and sports fans of all ages, as well as for anyone who appreciates engaging with or learning more about a regional icon.

With the mobile unit barely a week old, Ellis Park will be only the fifth stop for the Colts’ mobile exhibit that is full of experiences, history and memorabilia. Colts In Motion includes state-of-the-art virtual reality, interactive gaming center and exclusive photo opportunities for everyone in attendance.

“Our new Colts In Motion mobile experience is a state-of-the-art exhibit that allows our fans to interact with their favorite team in a fun and unique way," said Stephanie Pemberton, Vice President of Marketing for the Indianapolis Colts. "Within the mobile trailer, fans can see which Colts player they are most like, experience what it’s like to hit the anvil before kickoff and even take a photo as Adam Vinatieri’s holder. The Colts In Motion mobile experience travels throughout Indiana and other areas of the Midwest to bring the team into the backyards of our fans.”

Colts In Motion will be at Ellis Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. Central until 4:30 p.m. Admission is free to both the racetrack and the traveling experience.

“At Ellis Park, we pride ourselves on having something for everyone, and Colts In Motion provides our fans a fantastic opportunity,” said Karen Krauskopf, Ellis Park’s director of sponsorships and marketing. “We are so honored that we were accepted as a tour stop. We have a lot in common with Indiana’s NFL franchise: After all, our races are well-populated with colts and every horseplayer knows the importance of having Luck!”
