After going 5-0 last week, the Gibson Southern Titans tennis team stayed hot Monday with a 4-1 win in Evansville over Mater Dei Monday.

Singles action saw No. 1 Elliott Church defeat Conner Frey (6-2, 6-2), No. 2 Landon Kiesel fall to Pete Doepher (4-6, 2-6) and No. 3 Lucas Church takedown Jorge Torres (6-3, 4-6, 6-4).

In doubles play, the Titans No. 1 duo of Jake Decker and Carson Brindle defeated Kurt Denning and Travis Folz (6-4, 6-3) and their No. 2 duo of John Kiesel and Oliver Hamilton take down Clay James and Taylor Newton (3-6, 6-1, 7-5).

The Titans will look to continue their hot streak Thursday when they head to Elnora to take on North Daviess.
